Track staff attendance across every client building
Facilities contracts spread people across buildings, often with more than one service team on the same site. TimeTapIn is facilities management attendance software for that pattern: a QR code at the building, a company PIN, and hours the office can review by person and by site.

Hours get split across buildings and contracts
The work is on site. The timesheet usually is not, or it is a different sheet for every service team.
Each building keeps its own paper log
A book in the plant room only helps if someone brings it back. A missing page is a missing shift when you total the contract.
Service teams report hours differently
Engineering, front of house, and cleaning can all attend the same building and still send times in different chats or sheets.
Contract reports wait on site collection
Preparing hours for a client building means chasing several supervisors before anyone can see who attended.
How a building clock-in works
The QR code stays at the building. The worker uses the phone they already carry.
Put a unique QR code at each client building
Add the buildings on a contract. Each one gets its own code. Print it and leave it where that team starts work.
The worker scans and enters their company PIN
They open the phone camera, scan that building’s code, and enter the company PIN you gave them. There is no app to install.
They select Start or Finish
Start records the arrival at that building. Finish records the end. The hours sit on that site, not on a shared note.
The office reviews and corrects the hours
Managers look at attendance by worker and by building. If a finish was missed, they can correct the record, then export a site-based Excel file when preparing payroll.
What facilities managers can use
The record is attendance and working hours. A clock-in does not describe the quality of the work or prove someone stayed for the whole visit.
One code per building
Teams can cover several buildings in a week. Each scan is stored against the building whose code was used.
No worker app
Staff do not download an app or create a login. A phone camera and their company PIN are enough.
Optional location check
Location verification is off unless you turn it on for a building. When it is on, the phone’s location is checked at check-in and check-out. It is not continuous tracking.
Review and correct
Open one person or one building, and correct a start or finish when the tap was missed.
Excel by site for payroll preparation
Export a workbook organized by site. Use it to prepare payroll. TimeTapIn does not pay wages or file taxes.
A 30-day free pilot
A new company account includes a 30-day free pilot. Put a code in one building, share company PINs, and review a week of attendance before you decide to continue.
Illustrative example
Two teams, one office building
Picture a facilities company with a technician and a cleaner attending the same client office. The building has its own QR code. Each person scans it, enters their company PIN, and selects Start when they arrive and Finish when they leave. The office sees both people’s hours on that building, even though they do different work. At the end of the period, a manager exports the site’s Excel report to prepare payroll. The record shows attendance times. It does not score the work or list tasks completed.
Questions from facilities managers
Do engineers or cleaners need to install an app?
No. They scan the building QR code with a phone camera, enter their company PIN, and select Start or Finish. There is no worker app and no worker account.
Can several service teams use the same building code?
Yes. The code belongs to the building. Each person is identified by their company PIN, so hours stay separated by worker and by site.
Is location verification required at every building?
No. It is optional and set per site. When you turn it on, TimeTapIn checks the phone’s location at check-in and check-out. It does not track the phone between those taps.
What if someone forgets to finish?
A manager can review the attendance record and correct the time. The hours can still be included when you export the site report.
Can I use the export for payroll?
You can export site-based Excel reports of working hours to prepare payroll. TimeTapIn does not calculate tax, file returns, or pay salaries.
